Schedule

This is a draft schedule for Fall 2026 (from the FA26 planning spreadsheet) — module pacing, CHIPS due dates, and quiz windows are tentative until confirmed in class and on Ed. Each CHIPS also has an automatic 2-day extension; see the extension policy.

Work through one module per week (videos, textbook chapter, and self-check on Gradescope), attend lecture (Tue/Thu, starting Thu Aug 27) and one section per week (Mon/Tue slots). Assignments — both CHIPS and module self-checks — are due on Wednesdays (the exceptions, such as CHIPS 4.3 and the project iterations, are listed below); each CHIPS is released one week before it is due. Reading assignments are due on Thursdays. Quizzes are held in class on Tuesdays five times during the semester, and there is no lecture on quiz days. The final exam is in person during finals week (Tue Dec 15, 2 hours); the time will be announced later in the course.
